What’s in my carry on?

Lately I’ve been flying a lot more than my usual once a year to Disney trip. Since my fiance started school back up in Minnesota while I stay behind doing wedding things, I visit the airport about every 3-4 weeks. So I thought I’d do a post about the things that are in my carry on! Hope you enjoy!

Here’s a little overview of the things that I bring on my carry on!

I obviously always bring my phone. For multiple reasons haha. I like just downloading my boarding pass onto my “wallet” app on my phone. It’s super handy! I also always bring my computer on my carry on. In the airport I use it for writing and sometimes Netflix. It’s also nice to have with me because I can always use it to charge my phone if my battery gets low!

Chargers and headphones are a huge must. I just use in ear headphones as I’m really not a huge fan of those big over ear ones. They’re so easy to put in your pocket or throw in your bag! Excuse my computer charger as it’s a little beat up. That’s what happens when I’ve had the same charger for 5 years haha! Definitely on it’s last leg. But I always make sure I have both my phone and computer charger with me on the plane.

Since getting my polaroid I loove taking it with me when I travel. I love capturing memories on little polaroids. I sometimes pack it in my checked bag depending on if I have film in it or not. If I do, the X-ray machine in security will ruin the undeveloped film so beware of that if you have a polaroid! And depending on where I’m traveling (in states or out) I bring extra film with me. I always pack sunglasses in my carry on to either throw on when I get to my destination or just to feel cool in the plane haha. And of course always have my wallet, with my debit card and my ID. Depending on where I’m going I’d have my passport with me as well

I always bring my notebook with me, whether is my journal or just a small one to jot down ideas I ALWAYS have one with me, and going to the airport is no exception! Also always bring about 500 pens. Exaggeration but I always feel like I end up bringing an abundance of them. I always bring my bible with me as well, mines a little beat up but still golden. One of my favorite versions is the message bible. Definitely recommend if you sometimes struggle with getting into the word. If I have magazines I usually like to bring one with me, this one is Tapestry magazine, which I’ve recently been obsessed with. Also since I’m in the process of planning my wedding I usually have my wedding planner with me as well!

Just as the bag says these are my essentials of my carry on. I always bring my little travel Doterra essential oil kit with me everywhere I go, especially when traveling. I also like to have gum with me most of the time. Hand sanitizer is a MUST for me. Chapstick and lotion are also must, if not for the airport/plane then I always use them during my trip. I also always have allergy medicine and some sort of pain killers. My allergies have been sooo bad this year so I always have those with me and also I get cramps a lot so I like to have pain killers to help with those or headaches. Also I always have feminine products in my carry on as well! Never know when ya gonna need it.

This is the bag I’ve been using for my carry on. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this bag as a carry on, it’s great for an everyday purse but not my favorite for traveling. It’s really cute and big but, can also get heavy and usually ends up hurting my shoulders a lot of the time. But I’ve always struggled finding good carry on bags so this is the one I’m using until I find a good one!
